Larry Morrison has been at Dodds Monuments for over 30 years developing a close relationship with the families he serves. Larry has a desire to help those dealing with the grief of lost loved ones and to serve them with the dignity and respect each family deserves. Larry serves families through our Main Office and Showroom in Xenia, OH as both Sales Manager and Memorial Consultant. He works closely with his two sons Matt and Michael who also work at the Xenia office. You can see Larry’s designs in numerous cemeteries in the greater Dayton area. He has worked extensively with the Wright-Patt Air Force Museum to create memorials for our veterans. His expertise in the memorial arts industry is well known. So no matter what your need is, Larry can help create the perfect lasting vision of love for your family.
Designer Lisa George is a long time resident of Middletown and joined the Dodds Monuments family in 2013. Prior to that, she worked at a cemetery for over 13 years where she developed her memorial design skills and was able to use her compassion to ease others’ grief. Her passion for helping people is why she has volunteered for Hospice Care of Middletown and is currently a board member of The Veterans Memorial Foundation at Woodside Cemetery. Lisa is married to Steve and they have an adult son, two spoiled dogs and a cat. She enjoys being outdoors, walking, gardening or sitting in the gazebo reading a book while the dogs are sitting with her watching their yard.
Dan Grimme has been helping families create lasting memories of their love ones in Dayton since 1979. “I feel a deep commitment to listening and providing every family with the utmost care at a very difficult time” says Dan. “I try to treat everyone the way I would want to be treated if I had to create a memorial for someone in my family”. Dan is located at the Dodds Monuments Dayton location on North Dixie Drive and has been the designer at that branch for over 35 years. Over that span, Dan has worked closely on projects with the Dayton FOP and most recently with the Society of Lincoln. He credits his support team, Lola, his Sales Administrator and Sherry, his Administrative Assistant, for all the help they give him each and every day.
Courtney Parks has been assisting families as a Memorial Consultant and Sales Manager since 2011. He feels a deep commitment to serving each family while in their very difficult time. Courtney is a resident of Lebanon, where he and his wife, Emily, are raising their two children. He is a graduate of Morehead State University in Kentucky. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family, but also enjoys leading worship at church every chance he gets. Courtney is located at the Lebanon location, which was formerly known as Lebanon Monument before transitioning to Dodds Monuments.
Josh Walters has been the manager at the Dodds Springfield location since the branch opened in 1999. He has come to know many families throughout Clark, Champaign, Logan, and Madison counties during his 18 years at Dodds Monuments. Josh is known for his kind, compassionate, full service approach to serving all families that come to Dodds. From simple to creative designs, his goal is to make sure all families find the peace and comfort they seek when visiting their loved one at the cemetery. Josh has also worked closely with many local veteran and civic groups to create some of the area’s most notable civic memorials. You can be assured, you will receive loving, patient service from Josh and his office staff in Springfield. Josh graduated from Carroll High School, Dayton, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from the Wright State University. He is married to Lola Walters, who also works at Dodds Monuments at the Dayton location on Dixie Drive. They enjoy spending time with their two sons, daughter in-law, and their two young grandchildren. Designer Rick Meyer, a longtime resident of Cincinnati, has been serving families with their memorial needs for over 40 years. He is a graduate of Oak Hills High School and married his wife at Oak Hills United Methodist Church. Rick began his career at Spring Grove cemetery where he became a certified Rock of Ages designer in 1989. In 2002, he won the NMBA National award for best design of the Warren County Domestic Violence Memorial. Rick specializes in custom, as well as traditional memorialization and services families in the Cincinnati area at the Dodds Monuments Milford location. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and is fortunate to have his wife Patty and daughter Desiree, working with him at the Dodds Monuments main office.
